Tiger-Vac's line of vacuum cleaners allow for rapid, thorough and safe cleaning of powders which cause respiratory allergies in bakeries, while still conforming, in particular, to the ATEX directives concerning high risk zones.
Different applications
- Single phase models TV-27, non-ATEX, and ATEX 22E with optional accessories Kit #2 are designed to recover hot powders and crumbs inside ovens.
- For the recovery of flour, Tiger-Vac would like to propose our single phase model EXP1-20L DT certified ATEX Category 2 Zone 21, 22 (dust) and also Zone 1,2 (gas). When equipped with optional accessories Kit #2, can be used to recover hot powders and crumbs inside ovens.
Flour is a product known to be explosive. In order to recover flour without risk, it is necessary to use a vacuum cleaner that is ATEX certified by a notified independent testing laboratory that conforms to ATEX directives concerning high risk zones.

- ATEX Category 3 vacuum cleaners can be used in Zone 22 in the presence of flour but cannot be used to recover flour (please see the definition for Zone 22 in Annex I of ATEX Directive 1999/92/CE)
- Only Category 2 vacuum cleaners designed for use in Zones 21 and 22 can be used to recover flour
- In Zone 22, Category 2 and/or 3 vacuum cleaners can be used depending on the application required
